Presenting, Ageratum!
So today I am sharing with you another great Etsy seller, Ageratum, Jewelry by Donna
We lived in beautiful sunny IN for about 22 years, and have now moved back to the far reaches of NY state. Winter is just around the corner and I would rather be in IN where the winters are a bit milder. We have been married just over 40 years and our two children live in MA now. So, the good thing about our move is that we are closer to the kids and may be able to visit more often. ;)
I am a 'self-taught' atist/crafts person and enjoy creating in every medium. In the past few years I have really gotten into stringing beads and can't seem to stop! Yikes! I've got pieces of jewelry I've created all over the place (plus the ones I've made especially just for myself)!
I love having my shop on etsy. It has surely helped me to sell a few things and its such a great community! I've met many wonderful friends here and hope to hang around for a long time.
As for the competition - well, that is EVERYWHERE (especially considering the art of crafting jewelry!) and it is quite hard to compete with such talented artisans. I try, but I am just amateur. ;) Its a good thing I am enjoying what I do so much - it takes me away from the usual grind for awhile each day and is so relaxing (even when things get tense). ;)

Etsy Shop Feature - BrunetteDoll
Hello hello everyone!
I haven't done a feature in a while so now I have a bunch scheduled for the next month.
So today I am going to share with you a great shop, BrunetteDoll.
I'm a 23 year old recent college graduate who has always enjoyed working with my hands in my free time. I personally don't wear a lot of jewelry, but have always loved the way it looks on people and I wanted to be able to let others express themselves with funky and quirky inexpensive items I sell.
I have two shops on Etsy, one being BrunetteDoll that specializes in all things Scrabble (pendants & magnet sets thus far), and PinkFlowerCube that sells anything from cocktail rings to bobby pins to tile coasters!
I first heard about Etsy while doing a Google search for "Penguin Earrings," and I came across a shop that sold them. The seller was nice enough to show me the ropes, so to speak, and from there I opened up PinkFlowerCube about 2 weeks later. I've been on Etsy since August 2008 and have enjoyed growing with the site.

Halloween is coming!
Halloween is coming, do you know what you're going to be?
I still have no idea for this year, I'll figure out something though!
Back when I was little, my mom made all of me and my sister's costumes, my favourite was when she made me a cat costume. I was a black cat, and it had a hood with cat ears on it, and paws that I could take on and off like gloves, and I also had a tail. I loved it!
I had also been a pumpkin, angel, princess, and ballerina. I was quite your typical little girl!
What was your favourite Halloween costume growing up?
