Thursday Finds! Purses!

This is my first edition of Thursday Finds. Kind of excited! Some days there will be a theme to this, and some days it will just be a collection of random things I've found.

Today I have a theme, Purses!

Here are some really neat purses I've come across on Etsy.

#1

I love the colour of this purse, it's so cute!

#2
I love that this shop takes pictures with mannequins

#3
I love when birds are put onto things, so cute!

#4
Such a cute springtime purse!

I think 4 is good for today, I'll probably do either 4 or 5 items on my Thursday Finds.
If you have any theme suggestions, leave them in the comments, I'd love to hear them!

What's new with Tarapparel?

Well, I showed you my newest listing in my last post, but I have added things since my last post in December, it's just a matter of remembering what! I've also taken new pictures of some things as well. So I am just going to share with you some items that are new or have new pictures.

Striped Pajama Shorts. Great for summer time!

Have a new picture for these Cupcake Pajama Pants! I love these PJs the most!

Also a new picture for the White, Purple and Pink Polka Dot Pajama Pants!

(yes I realize I already slacked and didn't do a feature on Sunday, I didn't have any ready, but there will be one next Sunday I promise!)

I donated 2 items to a shop on Big Cartel called Helping Hearts. It's to help a fellow Etsian who suffered the tragic loss of her son, pets and house to a house fire.

That's it for me for today! I am off to sew a dress!

I am Back!

After a long break, I decided to return to the blogging world! Christmas really knocked me off my game this year, but I am back and ready to come at this blog full force!

I am going to be looking for some cool shops to feature, and I am also thinking about adding more structure to my blog.

So here is how the structure is going to go....

On Sundays, look forward to my "Etsy Shop Feature" where I will feature another great shop on etsy, either by sharing an interview or showcasing some of their items.

On Tuesdays, you will get to see some of my new listings, or hear about anything new going on with me or my shop, like new items, sales, or coupon codes.

On Thursday, I will be doing my own version of "Etsy Finds" It will be neat things I find while looking around on etsy.

Any other day I may or may not post, and it will be sort of an "anything goes" kind of post. Might share treasuries or talking about completely unrelated to etsy things.

Anyway, that's it for now, I will leave you with a picture and link to one of my newest items in my shop.

My Interview with PicklesCabinet

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share my interview with the owner of ychyfi and PicklesCabinet you should definitely check them out!

-Tell us a little bit about yourself

Hi! My name is Lindsey, I'm 26 and I live in Swansea, South Wales. I love tattoos, rockabilly, quirky things and cats!

-What do you sell on Etsy?

My store has two sections; Pickle's Pictures and Pickle's Jewels. Pictures houses my illustration work; offering portraits of people and their pets. I'm hoping to add more work to this section over the coming months, and I'd also like to start selling postcards and prints. Pickle's Jewels houses my real passion; handmade beaded jewellery. I love finding unusual glass beads and combining them to create something beautiful.

-Tell us about the item you want to showcase

The item I would like to share is my Venetian inspired necklace. I am completely in love with Italy, and I find Venice particularly enchanting. For me antique Venetian jewellery really captures the unique beauty of the city, and I was inspired to create my own version; with a modern twist.

I like to use glass beads because of the way they catch the light, and the pleasant weight they give to a final piece. For my Venetian necklace I used glass pearls, floral lampwork beads and Venetian wedding cake beads, which are absolutely stunning. I had a blast making this necklace and many more will be appearing in my shop over the next few weeks.

-How did you come to join Etsy?

I'd been following crafter blogs for a long time, and I noticed several mentioned Etsy. I signed up and started frequenting the Etc and Promotions forums, and not long after that I decided to set up my own store. Etsy is a great outlet for artists and crafters to share their work and get their name out in the public domain.

-Where else can we find you?(blog, facebook, twitter, etc)

I can be found on Blogger at http://ldtillustration.blogspot.com and I'm also on Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/LDTillustration
I love hearing from new people, so feel free to come and drop me a comment :)

Presenting, Simply Pretty Prints!

Good Afternoon everyone! Today I am going to share with you a great shop called simplyprettyprints. You can get some really cute things at this shop, you should definitely check it out!

"I'm Sarah, and for me, creating is a must! I also love to do things outdoors, eat good food, watch shows or movies that make me think or laugh, hang out with good friends and family, and learn new things"

"Today it is this little “Hello Love” espresso cup :). I had fun carrying the design over from the cup to the saucer. http://www.etsy.com/listing/59204060/hand-painted-espresso-cup-and-saucer"

"Working as a design engineer for about 9 years nurtured my scientific side, but not so much my creative and artistic side. After feeling a little burnt out, I had to find creative outlet, nourish my hobbies, and find some balance. Always wanting to learn something new, I took guitar lessons, painting, dancing, and worked on little craft projects on my own. Eventually it evolved into starting my own etsy shop."

"You can find me blogging at: simplyfunstuff.blogspot.com. There you can get updates on my shop, enter giveaways, and find lots of crafty ideas including some original tutorials. I also tweet under simplyfunstuff."
